“Just be kind and brave. That’s all you ever need to be.” – From the Being Brave Organization

I enjoy outdoor activities, especially hiking. I have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and hiked the Fish River Canyon in Namibia.

I am a registered Clinical Psychologist who obtained my Master's Degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 2007. I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA no. PS0101729) and the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF practice no. 0396095).

I have been in private practice since 2010, prior to which I worked in an addiction treatment centre.

My therapy areas of interest include depression and other Mood Disorders, maternal well-being, pregnancy and postpartum challenges (for example bonding), anxiety, trauma, relationship/family difficulties, life changes and personal growth.

I offer short- and longterm psychotherapy and use an eclectic approach to therapy informed by my training in Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person Centred Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

I am enthusiastic about psychology and enjoy the rewards of sharing in patients’ healing journeys.
